Vižula route no. 302

The route starts at a junction before the entrance to the Vižula peninsula. On this route, you will have the chance to smell the intoxicating scents of the pine trees. The route will take you along the coast, which features a variety of boats moored on the small piers, and then onto a clearing on the western part of the peninsula where you will see the archaeological site of a Roman villa. The route then continues southwards where you will come across the ruins of a pier, warehouse and houses for merchants and slaves. As you continue walking, a view of Medulin and its waterfront will open up in front of you.

The route is 2.3 km long and easy to walk along. The tour takes about one hour. During the walk, you can admire the views of historic monuments and natural sights. The peninsula itself is a large archaeological site where Roman villas and other structures have been found.

6.	1	7 m		Vižula peninsula	Take a sharp right towards the south and continue along the coast.
8.	6.8	55 m		Vižula peninsula	At the junction, turn right towards Medulin.
9.	2.3	6 m		Medulin	After a narrowing in the path, you arrive at the starting point: the junction in Medulin.
